Treverbyn Church & Knightor Winery, Cornwall • June 2019

This wedding was designed and planned with three priorities in mind; ensure it's relaxed, make sure everyone feels included and the food, it needed all the food that the couple loved.

All of these priorities were met and more. It was the wedding of my dreams and you know why? Because it was my wedding.

We wanted to make sure all of our families felt included (David is German), so we had lots of multilingual snippets in the day, garden games for any children (and adults!) invited to play with, an egg and spoon race after lunch, my parents dog running about and areas within the gardens of Knightor for people to sit and relax.

The food was everything we loved. We had a picnic as our wedding breakfast (as we had a picnic on one of our first holidays together!), we had a hog roast for dinner and there was pork pie and cheese cake to pick on throughout the day.

We danced, we laughed, we drank and ate and it was the best day of our lives.

Also, I want to say a huge thank you to the best venue and suppliers we could have hoped for, obviously the day wouldn't have been the same without them, but they all made it that extra bit special.
